In a heartfelt Instagram tribute, Gesine shared a photo of Randall smiling and said that she was “convinced” he had found the “best fishing spot in heaven.” She also said that Sandra was “the best of caretakers” to Randall and that she had assembled a team of nurses to help her look after him at home.

“ALS is a cruel disease but there is some comfort in knowing he had the best of caretakers in my amazing sister and the band of nurses she assembled who helped her look after him in their home,” Gesine wrote. “Rest in peace, Bryan.”

Randall’s family confirmed his death to Page Six on Monday. They said that he had chosen to keep his battle with ALS private and that they had tried to honor his request.

Sandra and Randall met in 2015 when he photographed her son Louis’ birthday party. They began dating a few months later and made their red carpet debut later that year.

In 2021, Sandra spoke about Randall on “Red Table Talk” and said that he was the “love of [her] life.” She also said that he was a great father to her two children, Louis and Laila, and to his own daughter, Skylar.

Sandra has yet to comment publicly on Randall’s death.

Randall’s family is requesting donations to the ALS Association and Massachusetts General Hospital in lieu of flowers.
