Kody and Christine Brown Reunite for the First Time Since She Left Sister Wives

Kody and Christine Brown met for lunch in Arizona for the first time since Christine left the family to move to Utah. The meeting was awkward, as Kody was still angry with Christine for leaving and Christine was trying to be civil.

Kody was particularly upset that Christine had talked badly about him to his children. He wanted to spend some time “hating” her, but Christine was determined to have an amicable divorce.

The two discussed holiday plans for their daughter, Truely. Kody wanted Truely to come to his and Robyn’s home for Christmas, but Christine was hesitant because of Kody’s strict COVID rules. Kody pointed out that he had just had COVID himself and wanted to protect his youngest daughter, Aurora.

The conversation then turned to how sick Kody had been when he had COVID. Christine tried to make light of the situation by laughing about how “out of it” he had been when he called their daughter, Gwendlyn, for her birthday. Kody was not amused, however, and said that he had not been laughing about anything since Christine left.

Christine, on the other hand, was relieved to be free from Kody and his controlling ways. She said that she was “so freaking awesome” to be divorced from him.

The meeting between Kody and Christine was a preview of the challenges that lie ahead for the Brown family. Janelle, Kody’s second wife, is also growing frustrated with him, and the two are likely to split in the near future.

The upcoming season of Sister Wives will document the fallout from Christine and Janelle’s departures. It will be a difficult time for the family, but it is also an opportunity for them to start fresh and build new relationships.
