Travis Scott and Kanye West reunite on stage in Rome after Ye's antisemitism controversy

Travis Scott and Kanye West surprised fans with a joint performance in Rome on August 7th. The rappers performed Ye’s songs “Praise God” and “Can’t Tell Me Nothing” at the Circus Maximus.

This was Ye’s first performance since his antisemitic remarks in 2022. Scott praised Ye for coming out to perform with him, saying “There is no Utopia without Kanye West. There is no Travis Scott without Kanye West. There is no Rome without Kanye West.”

Scott and Ye have been friends for many years. They have collaborated on several projects, including the song “No Church in the Wild” from West’s 2013 album Yeezus.

Scott’s latest album, Utopia, was released on July 28th. The album features collaborations with Drake, Playboi Carti, Beyoncé, The Weeknd, Bad Bunny, SZA, and Future.

The performance in Rome was a welcome return to the stage for both Scott and Ye. It was clear that the two artists still have a lot of chemistry together. Fans are hoping that this is just the beginning of their musical collaboration.
