Pink Concert Disrupted by Fan Who Tosses Bag of Mother's Ashes on Stage

Singer Pink was left speechless after a fan threw a bag of their mother’s cremated ashes on stage during a concert in London.

The incident occurred four songs into Pink’s headlining set at the British Summer Time festival in Hyde Park. The singer picked up the large pouch of white powder and asked the person who had thrown it on stage if it was their mother.

“I don’t know how I feel about this,” Pink said, visibly stunned.

She then placed the package down behind the front-of-stage speakers and continued performing her current song, Just Like A Pill.

The incident has sparked outrage on social media, with many fans criticizing the concertgoer for their insensitive act.

“That is so disrespectful,” wrote one Twitter user. “I can’t believe someone would do that to Pink.”

“That’s just plain wrong,” said another. “I hope security finds the person who did that and bans them from ever attending another concert again.”

Others had more extreme suggestions about what Pink should have done with the ashes.

“I would have started snorting their mother on stage,” wrote one person on Twitter.

“I would have sprinkled it on the crowd,” said another.

The incident is the latest in a string of boundary-pushing events at pop stars’ concerts. In May, singer Bebe Rexha received stitches after a concertgoer threw a phone at her head. And in June, fellow singer Ava Max abruptly ended a recent show after a fan rushed the stage and slapped her in the face.

Pink is set to return to Australia in February 2024 for a string of stadium shows. It remains to be seen if she will have any more run-ins with overzealous fans.

In the meantime, here’s a message to all concertgoers: Please leave all dead relatives at home.
