The Chicks did not specify what illness they are suffering from, but they apologized for the inconvenience and said that their priority is to put on a show that their fans deserve.

Canadian folk band Wild Rivers will still serve as the supporting act for all three shows. Previously purchased tickets will be honored at the new dates.

The Chicks returned to action in 2020 with their first new album in 14 years, Gaslighter. The album was a critical and commercial success, and the Chicks have been touring in support of it since then.

The rescheduled shows are as follows:

  • August 8: Greensboro, North Carolina (Greensboro Coliseum Complex)
  • September 21: Knoxville, Tennessee (Thompson-Boling Arena)
  • September 23: Nashville, Tennessee (Bridgestone Arena)
