Christine Baumgartner Reacts to Kevin Costner's Child Support Offer, Says It's Not Enough

Kevin Costner and Christine Baumgartner are still in the middle of their divorce, and the terms of their child support agreement are still being negotiated.

Christine has requested $250,000 per month in child support, but Kevin has offered $51,940. Christine has now filed new documents arguing that Kevin’s offer is “completely inappropriate.”

She claims that Kevin spends $240,000 per month on himself when the children are with him, and that he expects their children to live far below his economic circumstances when they are with their mother.

Christine also says that she needs more money to provide for the children’s housing, utilities, security system, furniture, and other expenses. She is also asking Kevin to cover all of the costs pertaining to their kids’ healthcare, private schooling and extracurricular activities, plus attorney’s fees.

The couple have been married for 18 years and have three children together. They are currently living in separate homes, and a judge has ruled that Christine must move out of their family home by August 1.

It remains to be seen how much child support Kevin will ultimately be ordered to pay. However, it is clear that the couple is still struggling to agree on the terms of their divorce.
