“Flip or Flop” Stars Christina El Moussa and Tarek Sued for Alleged Unpaid Wages
Christina El Moussa and Tarek may be facing some legal hassle.
A lawsuit was filed against the Flip or Flop exes, as well as HGTV, in North Carolina on Tuesday, by an alleged former worker who claims he wasn’t stipendiary for work he did for Next Level Property Investments the El Moussas‘ firm from March to October of 2016.
In the Bench document obtained by ET, the litigator, Jonathan David D Schmier alleges that he has not been paid “one penny” for work he did with the estranged couple 5 homes, for which Schmier legal action he was owed a commission of $5,000 on every.
Schmier is seeking back salary totaling $12,800, as well as $25,000 of commission.
The filing comes after the former couple signed on for an 8th season of their popular house-flipping display, despite their highly public split in December.
Meanwhile, the two have been taking to single life by showing off their enviable physiques.
