Chris Pratt and Anna Faris Have a Secret Emoji Signal to Outfall Hollywood
Sometimes you simply got to escape.
When Anna Faris and Chris Pratt want a break from their hectic Hollywood life-style, they send one another their own version of the bat signal.
“I send the emoji of an eagle landing to mention, ‘Let’s escape to the islands,” Faris, 40 tells folks during this week’s problem. “We each grew up in Washington State, and we have an area up there.”
It’s no wonder the couple has had to come up with a secret code. This summer alone, Faris has been juggling cinematography a remake of Goldie Hawn’s classic Overboard, promoting her new animated The Emoji film and recording podcasts whole while chasing after their 4-year-old son Jack. Pratt, meanwhile, recently finished cinematography Jurassic World 2.
So how do they keep their romance alive amid such busy schedules? seems, it’s the mundane elements of life that keep the couple grounded.
“Chris loves to add the garage and i love to do laundry and watch reality TV,” she says. “Just simple folks.”
Still, Faris is the initial to admit that navigating power couple celebs can be a challenge at times.
“I do not suppose that is one thing, when you are an actor, that you are ready for,” she says of navigating power couple celebs with Pratt. “There are 2 totally different roles that you play the one on-camera and the one publically. That’s the tricky part.”
